Our Mission is to develop and promote interest in rug hooking, to maintain high standards and encourage creativity in this art form and other fiber related art forms; to provide the means for exchange of ideas and information among the members of the Guild and to promote educational activities to enhance the interest in and the quality of rug hooking.

Rug Show Chair-we have opportunities to demonstrate and promote at the Vintage & Made Market in Lancaster in September, Winterfair in Columbus in December but cannot move forward without a Rug Show Chair. Scheduling demonstrators, planning the set-up and take down of the booth are the main requirements of the job. This position fulfills a huge part of our mission.

Planning our Magdalena Briner Eby rugs for display at Fall Meeting in October! We were inspired by a video presentation on the life of Magdalena by Kathy Wright Thank you Kathy! Kathy brought two large rugs done in the Magdalena style to share with us.
