Your new executive board is in place and the action has already begun. I'm excited about our updated website that will become our primary means of communication. Herein you'll find password protected pages for Members Only that will include a contact list so we can reach out to one another. Please think of our members who may be missing all the interaction of family and friends during these times. You'll find copyright free patterns for your use, hints and tips and helpful instructions. You are welcome and needed to contribute in any way you'd like. Sharing photos of your creations would be wonderful. When you send electronically to my email (firstname.lastname@example.org), please include the pattern name, designer, your name and the date hooked.
Communication and engagement in any way that we can will be critical importance this year. We strive to re-connect but we can't do it alone-we need and want each one of you.
We will be reaching out with polls, surveys or questionnaires about what you'd like the guild to offer. We'd like to introduce a mentorship program whereby those who need help with digital sharing and communications may be matched up with someone who can supply help with that in exchange for rug hooking expertise or whatever the two of you decide is a good reciprocal agreement. Our guild is so full of talented hookers. We surely hope you'll all share your knowledge.
Keep watching the website as we build and grow it. Change is guaranteed. We don't know what the future holds but we will devote ourselves to making a way to keep our guild viable and fun for our members.
The best way you can help our guild is to engage, share and inspire. Thank you, stay well, my friends.
